About: Join us for a special Drop-Ins session led by career Coach Hallie Crawford. Have you recently been laid off or are you worried you might be? Facing job uncertainty is stressful, but the good news is that the job market remains strong, and opportunities are still out there. UVA Northern Virginia: Inspire Summer Program for High Schoolers
UVA | Northern Virginia’s Inspire program offers academic summer programming for rising 10th – 12th graders to explore new interests and skills. Our one- to two-week courses, offered in-person and online, provide participants the opportunity to engage in courses that may not be offered at their respective high schools and go beyond the traditional high school curriculum – teaching digital marketing, creative writing, forensic science, engineering, and more.

- Extended admissions deadline for the Master of Public Policy program.
- For those admitted into the Master of Public Policy for Fall 2025, a minimum guaranteed annual scholarship of $12,500 (for VA residents) or $20,000 (for non-VA residents).

School of Continuing and Professional Studies: New Scholarships
In its mission to make education more affordable, accessible and achievable, University of Virginia’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies is pleased to announce new scholarship opportunities for federal workers facing unexpected challenges resulting from administrative changes.
Scholarships are available for students applying to the School’s summer 2025 term, including bachelor’s degree completion programs, professional certificate programs and the Master of Public Safety degree program. Award values will range from $500 to the cost of two courses for the summer term. By providing these scholarships, the School seeks to ensure students can achieve their education goals and gain skills, experience and knowledge that will open doors in their career and their future.
Eligible individuals must apply by the summer application deadline of their desired program:
- April 1, 2025 for the Master of Public Safety
- April 8, 2025 for Professional Certificate programs
- May 15, 2025 for the Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies and Bachelor of Professional Studies in Health Sciences Management degree programs
